Ryan L. Gasper Mr. Ryan Gasper of Woodview Circle in Port Washington passed away Tuesday morning December 24 2013 at his residence. He was 80 years old. Ryan was born June 15 1933 in the Town of Belgium son of Jacob and Mary Hamkins Gasper. On June 20 1953 he was united in marriage with Kathleen Kessler at St. Nicholas Church in Dacada. She preceded him in death in 2010. Ryan worked as an engineer at Falk Corporation in Milwaukee for over 30 years. Mr. Gasper was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington where he had been involved with the Mens Club. He enjoyed photography and spent many years as a professional photographer. He was a woodworker who created the communion rail at his church as well as many fine pieces that he passed on to his children and grandchildren. Ryan is survived by two children Julie (Paul) Turzynski of Sheboygan and Susan Gasper of Milwaukee. He is further survived by 5 grandchildren: John T. Christopher Theresa (Kevin) Rachel (Daniel) and Jacob (Adrienne) 6 great-grandchildren his sister Mary Nigrocki of Corpus Christi TX brothers Vernon (Dixie) Gasper of Arvada CO and James (Patricia) Gasper of Sun City CA sisters-in-law Patricia Schindel of Oostburg Linda Kessler of Johnson Creek and Ruth Gasper of Port Washington nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Kenneth and Glenn Gasper. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday December 30 2013 at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church. Father Thomas Lijewski will officiate. Ryan will be laid to rest beside his wife at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Sheboygan. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 4:30-6:30PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
