Mrs. Ruth V Wagner formerly of Port Washington passed away Friday March 21 2014 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg. She was 97 years old. Ruth was born September 7 1916 in Moundsville West Virginia the daughter of Lyman and Georgianna Moore Motte. On November 20 1940 she was united in marriage with Ralph Wagner in West Virginia. He preceded her in death in 1981. Ruth had attended United West Church in Wauwatosa. She had enjoyed traveling painting hat making knitting reading doing crossword puzzles studying genealogy and playing cards with her friends. Ruth is survived by her children: John (Amanda) Wagner of Sequim WA and Barbara Frank of Port Washington. She is further survived by three grandsons: Spencer (Sarah) Sean (Sara) and Stefan (Marcella); great-grandchildren: Bennett Myles Mason Chase Griffin Bishop other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph and two sisters: Annabelle Smith and Jean Sutor. Private family services were held at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
