Our loving mother, Ruth Delores Trice (née Rinehart) was granted her angel wings on December 31, 2017. Always the loving mother her calm outreaching personality had many calling her mom. Ruth was born in Little Fork, MN on 15 Sept 1931. Having graduated high school in Anoka, MN her family moved to Rib Lake, WI where she met the love of her life, Jack Claire Trice. They were married in Rib Lake WI on December 4, 1953. Having lived a short time in Milwaukee, WI, they took their young family to Port Washington, WI. Jack went on to his eternal resting place on January 19, 1994. Thereafter, Ruth moved to Dallas, TX. Our Lord has given her many treasures, but the closest to her heart were eleven children. Her faith in the Catholic Church provided the strength needed during times of hardship. At an earlier age when her mobility wasn't restricted, Ruth was able to see parts of the world most can only dream of. Her laughter was contagious. Although her body has left us, her spirit will remain with all those she has touched. Ruth is survived by her Her eleven children: Mark (Mary) Port Washington, WI, Philip Dallas TX, Thomas Random Lake WI, Judy Dallas TX, Jeffrey (Beverly) West Bend WI, Daniel (Elizabeth) Waldo WI, Donald (Nicki)Lewisville TX, Joyce (Joel) WestBend WI, Charles Port Washington WI, Patricia Dallas TX, and John (Lisa) Random lake WI. She is further survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grand children, sisters Shirley Bartel of St Paul, MN, Mary Skogquist of Elk River, MN, Ria Pierce of McGregor, MN and her brother Ernest Rinehart of St Paul, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 5:30 PM at St. John XXIII Parish - St. Mary's Church, 430 E. Johnson St., Port Washington, WI. Father Patrick Wendt will preside over Mass. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Jack in St. Mary's Mausoleum in Port Washington. A visitation will be held at the CHURCH on Friday, January 5th, from 4:30 PM -5:30 PM, with a Rosary at 4:15 PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington, WI is honored to serve the family.
