Ruth Parez was born to eternal life on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the age of 77 after succumbing to a yearlong fight against cancer.

Ruth was born on August 8, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended the University of Cincinnati.

Ruth enjoyed sports, gardening, playing cards with friends and was an excellent cook. She was an accomplished bowler who achieved recognition by winning numerous awards locally and competed in several professional tournaments. For the past 15 years, Ruth was an avid golfer enjoying her time as a member of the Edgewater Golf Club in Grafton.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband James, in-laws Mary and David Newell, John and Lois Parez and Douglas Kriick. She was the loving and caring grandmother to Alana and Carina Parez.

Ruth was preceded in death by both of her parents and her sister Barbara Kriick.

Ruth gave us her love that we now carry in our hearts, forever grateful for the life she shared with us.

A visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 1619 Washington St. Grafton, Wisconsin at 3:30PM on Friday, December 12, 2025, followed by a memorial Mass beginning at 4:00PM. Memorials are appreciated and should be sent to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
