Obituary

RUTH H. FIEDLER Mrs. Ruth Fiedler formerly of Grafton and Wild Rose passed away early Saturday morning July 12 2014 at The Pavilion at Glacier Valley in Slinger where she had been residing for the last two years. She was 94 years old. Ruth was born in Grafton on June 20 1920 daughter of Oscar and Viola Staewen Eernisse. She attended local schools and was united in marriage with Clarence Fiedler on December 4 1937 in Cedarburg. The couple settled in Grafton and raised their family. Ruth worked at Sprage Electric for more than 23 years retiring in 1976. Ruth and Clarence later moved to the home they had built in Wild Rose and enjoyed their retirement. He preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Fielder later moved to Washington Heights in Hartford. Ruth was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wild Rose and a member of the Rose Harms American Legion Post #355 Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing family genealogy crafting crocheting and making afghans in her spare time. Mrs. Fiedler is survived by her daughters Beverly Betsy (the late John) Quiggle of Grafton and Barbara (Ronald) Loos of Rubicon 5 grandchildren: Dawn Jessica Matthew Stacy and Katheryn and 9 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by 1 brother James (Carol) Eernisse of Wabeno sister-in-law Jean Eernisse of Port Washington special god-daughter Linda Krebs of Theresa nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence son-in-law John Quiggle grandson Michael Quiggle and brothers Earl (the late Georgia) Robert (the late Marvelle) and Donald Eernisse. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday July 15th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 701 Washington Grafton. Rev. Kenton Wendorf will preside. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Zur Ruhe Cemetery Cedarburg. The family will receive visitors at CHURCH on Tuesday from 1-2:30 PM. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Shut-in Ministry or Immanuel Lutheran Church Wild Rose. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family will arrangements. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Generations Hospice for their compassionate care of Ruth.
