RUTH SCHMIT EISCHEN Ruth Eischen age 88 years of Hwy. Y in the Town of Saukville died Tuesday March 27 2007 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon. She was born February 7 1919 in Port Washington daughter of Joseph and Esther Retzer Swatek. On August 10 1940 she married Harold Schmit in Debuque Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1994. On May 15 2000 she married Allie Eischen in Las Vegas. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg and enjoyed card playing gardening and shopping for bargains. She is survived by five children: James (Jeri Ann) Schmit of Port Washington John Schmit of Horicon Jarrett (Lara) Schmit of Monaco Suzanne Fellenz of Port Washington and Jeanne Koehler of Milwaukee four step-children: Karen Miller of Random Lake Kay (Randy) Sissom of Cedarburg Cindy (Guy) Fischer and Paul (Cherilyn) Eischen both of Plymouth 22 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren and four brothers: Fred (Lillian) Swatek of Port Washington Ralph (Phyllis) Swatek of Cedarburg Lyle (Dottie) Swatek and Paul (Nancy) Swatek both of Lake Geneva. She was preceded in death by one infant daughter and three brothers: Gerald Donald and Howard Swatek. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday April 2 7 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg with Father Guy Gurath officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery Port Washington. Visitation at the CHURCH Monday from 4-7 PM.
