Russell C. Paulin Russ Russell Paulin of Port Washington passed away in the morning hours of Saturday July 18 2015 at his residence. He was 87 years old. Russ was born in Port Washington on October 3 1927 son of Ervin Paulin and Melma Keller Paulin. He grew up and attended school in Port Washington. After high school he served his country during WWII with the US Navy. After returning from the service he married Mary Ann Solger on September 8 1951 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. Russ worked at Port Publications as a Pressman for 46 years retiring in 1990. He was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington and Post 5373 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Russ enjoyed tinkering and repairing things around the house camping and listening to big band music. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Mary Ann of Port Washington six children: David of Port Washington Jeffrey of Port Washington Stephen (Sue) of Cedarburg Daniel of Port Washington James (Mary) of Port Washington and Amy (Bob) Boehm of Saukville. He is further survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren his brother Lyle (Estelle) Paulin of Sheboygan sister-in-law Margaret (Gerrit) Bles of AR brother-in-law William (Liz) Solger of Oak Forest IL nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gerald. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday July 23rd at 6:30 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church 430 Johnson St. Port Washington. Father Pat Wendt will preside. He will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the church on Thursday July 23rd from 4-6:30 PM.
