Obituary

Russell Cantrall of Port Washington passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday February 13 2014 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon after a valiant battle with solitary sclerosis. He was 45 years old. Russ was born in Milwaukee on February 8 1969 son of Frederick Cantrall and Donna Freuen Cantrall. He grew up in Saukville and attended Port Washington High School graduating with the class of 1987. After high school Russ enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. serving as a corporal in Operation Desert Storm. After finishing his enlistment Russ married Victoria Jaeger on June 29 1996 in Saukville. Russ worked as a machinist in Grafton and was also a Journeyman in the Carpenters Union. He was a member of the American Legion Post 470 in Saukville and also Post 7037 Veterans of Foreign Wars in Waubeka. He enjoyed hunting fishing playing catch with his children and household projects. Russ is survived by his wife Vicky of Port Washington his three children Kailey Nolan and Mason Cantrall all of Port Washington and his mother Donna Cantrall of Sheboygan Falls. He is further survived by three brothers Fred (Terry) Cantrall of Wells MN Rodney Cantrall of Saukville and Steven (Candy ) Cantrall of Maple View MN his in-laws Scott (Sue) Jaeger of Elgin IL and Irene Rieck of Cedarburg his brother-in-law Greg (Kim) Jaeger of Woodbury MN sister-in-law Brenda (Tony) Roeder of Cedarburg aunts and uncles; Bud and Barb Bartz of Tomahawk Herb and Som Freuen of La Vista CA Charles Cantrall of Milwaukee Claire and James Freuen of Eugene OR nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his father Frederick his grandparents Herb and Mae Freuen and Floyd and Mabel Cantrall and grandma Arleen Jaeger. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 15th 1 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington with Chaplain Fletcher Simpson officiating. Russ will be laid to rest with full military honors at Union Cemetery in Saukville. Visitation will take place on Saturday February 15th at the Funeral Home from 10 AM until 1 PM.
