Russel "Rusty" J. Noegel, 83, of Port Washington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Harbor Club, Port Washington, WI. Born March 3, 1935 in Rugby Junction, WI, Russel was the son of Joseph and Anita (nee: Fohl) Noegel. On July 30, 1955, he was united in marriage with Hildegarde Mog at St. Hubert's Catholic Church in Hubertus. Russel was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington, and enjoyed well-drilling, working on cars, towing cars with his son Jon, and visiting and talking with friends and family. Russel is survived by four children: Mark Noegel (Jay Stallman), Berlin, MA, Scott (Laurie) Noegel, Seattle, WA, Jon (Jill) Noegel, Port Washington, and Cynthia (Martin) Van Hoof, Cudahy; six grandchildren: Andrew (Lily) Noegel, Melissa (Justin) Langer, Zachary Noegel, Hannah Noegel, and Aiden and Avery Van Hoof; a great-grandson Chase Noegel; and a sister, Shirely Hefter. He was preceded in death by his wife Hildegarde and brother Deril. At Russel's request, private services have been arranged for the immediate family.
