Mrs. Ruby Kirsch Ruby Kirsch age 76 years of Chestnut St. Port Washington died early Tuesday morning March 14 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital-Ozaukee in Mequon. She was born March 29 1929 in Port Washington daughter of Leonard and Bertha Krause Hackbarth. On January 27 1949 she married Charles Kirsch at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. He preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. Kirsch worked as a secretary for the Ozaukee County Highway Department in Port Washington retiring in 1991 after 24 years. She was a past member of St. John's Missionary League and a member of St. John's Women's Guild of which she was President. She was also an active member of the Port Washington American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Kirsch is survived by two sons Rod (Shelley) of Sheboygan and Larry (fiance Pam Soderberg) of Lakewood WI one grandson Brian (Heather) Kirsch and one great grandson Christopher. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and one grandson Chris. Funeral Friday eve. March 17 7 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church 217 Freeman Dr. Port Washington with Rev. John Klieve officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery Port Washington. Visitation at the Church Friday from 4-7 PM.
