Rosemarie "Rose" G. Nemchek                                                                                                                                                               1940 -2026

Longtime Ozaukee County resident Rose Nemchek was born to eternal life on Tuesday April 21, 2026, at the age of 85. Rose was born in Michigan on April 24,1940, the daughter of Edward and Olga (nee Balogh) Liszka. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Andrew "Andy" Nemchek at Christ the Shepherd Church in Lincoln Park, MI on January 2, 1957. 

Loving mother of George Nemchek, Shaun Nemchek, Andrew (Teresa) Nemchek, Paul (Liz) Nemchek, Gay (Tom) Allen, William (Melanie) Nemchek, Alan Nemchek, Rosie Nemchek, Anna-Lee (Dan) Cappaert, Matthew (Candice) Nemchek and Stephanie Nemchek; many grandchildren including Tessa Nemchek whom she raised from birth; brother Edward (Patti) Liszka, along with other relatives and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her husband Andrew "Andy" Nemchek, daughter Jennifer Nemchek, parents Edward and Olga Liszka and sister Olga Cronin.

Rose was a caring and devoted mother to her large family, especially to her daughter Rosie. She was a devote Catholic and a faithful member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. She practiced her faith in everyday life, exhibited by the compassion and generosity she had for to those in need. Rose had a keen eye for interior design and a passion for antiquing.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM on Friday May 1, 2026, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church-South, N44W6055 Hamilton Rd in Cedarburg. Burial at St. Francis Borgia Cemetery to follow. Visitation Thursday April 30, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave in Cedarburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of donor’s choice are appreciated.
