Rose M. Schaefer died on Thursday, March 6, 2025 with her devoted family at her side. She was born on May 26, 1938, to Albert and Theresa (Beste) Haberichter in Milwaukee. On August 2, 1980 Rose was united in marriage to her sweetheart and best friend Joseph "Joe" Schaefer. They had over 40 beautiful years together, traveling whenever they had the chance.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Alexian Village, Chapel of the Holy Spirit, 9301 N. 76th St., Milwaukee, WI 53223. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:30am until the time of service. A private interment at Lakefield Cemetery will be held.
