Rose Mary H. Meyer, age 63, of Cedar Grove passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 after a battle with cancer. Her family is happy she is finally at peace. She was born to George and Martha (nee Fechter) Meyer on January 17, 1955. Rosie graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1974 and later went on to attend culinary school. Rosie enjoyed gardening and making banner sequence crafts. Baking and cooking were her true passions. She worked at Hobo's Restaurant in Belgium for over twenty-five years. Rosie enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors and she will be forever missed. Rosie is survived by her siblings, Charles (Georgina) Meyer of Cedar Grove, Diane (Daniel) Meyer of Newton and Kathleen (Peter) Vande Boom of West Bend. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:00PM on Friday, April 20, 2018 at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, St. Mary's Church (451 N. Johnson St. Port Washington, WI 53074) with Father Patrick Wendt presiding. Visitation will be at the CHURCH from 4:00PM until the time of service. Private family burial. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Uncle Jim, Aunt Dorothy, Aunt Clara and their families, her neighbors and friends who helped her in her time of need.
