Rose H. Leider passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, at Forest Haven in Fredonia, where she had been a resident. She was 90 years old.

Rose was born on December 13, 1934, in Random Lake, Wisconsin to the late Harold and Mary (Schladweiler) Hass. She attended St. John's Cathedral High School in Milwaukee, graduating in the class of 1953. Rose was united in marriage with Leroy Leider on October 15,1955 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada. Together, Leroy and Rose raised 4 children on their family farm in the Town of Fredonia. Leroy preceded her in death on December 12, 1998.

Rose was a hard worker throughout her life rooted in family, farm and community. Rose worked side by side along with her husband on their family farm whether in the fields, barn, or in her large garden. She especially enjoyed preparing big hearty meals for her family and friends. Rose devoted 28 years to serving as an Ozaukee County Board Supervisor and left a remarkable legacy that will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Beyond her responsibilities on the County Board, Rose was passionately involved with community organizations such as the National Flag Day Foundation and the Salvation Army, where her generosity and commitment made a lasting impact. Her vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication were an inspiration to many, and her contributions will be felt for years to come.

Rose is survived by her children Lance (friend Nancy Hoffman) Leider, Linnae (Joe) Grimm, Roman (Agnes) Leider, and Leroy "Bud" (Tania) Leider. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Valerie (Gary) Pieper, Cheyenne (Alex) Mullikin, Rachel (Casey) Hubner, Samuel Grimm, Morgan Leider, Hannah (Cody) Langhoff, Roman J. (Stefane) Leider II, Angela Leider, and Julia Leider; two great-grandsons, Calvin and Silas. Rose is further survived by special friend Charles Beck, family friend Sam Arendt, many nieces, nephews, and other friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leroy, her sister Loraine Jacoby, and niece Roseanne Schoenemann.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:30PM on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish - St. Nicholas Church, W4274 Co Hwy K, Random Lake, WI 53075. Father Don Thimm will preside. The family will receive visitors at church from 1PM until 3:15PM. Rose will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Dacada.
