MRS. ROSE L. LALLENSACK Mrs. Rose Lallensack of Port Washington formerly of the Town of Belgium passed away at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington on Thursday morning October 13 2005. She was 89 years old. Rose was born on July 25 1916 in the Town of Belgium daughter of John and Agnes Schueller Strauss. On May 4 1940 she was united in marriage with Edward Lallensack at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. Six months earlier they had bought a farm in the Town of Belgium which they farmed until 2001. Ed preceded her in death in 2002. Mrs. Lallensack was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church Lake Church and a former member of the West Bend Square Steppers Dance Club. Rose enjoyed being a farmer's wife and all of the hard work that went with the job. She cooked baked did knitting and crocheting and loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She and her husband enjoyed traveling together and both liked to square dance. She is survived by her 7 children: Robert (Margie) of Fredonia Joanne (Alan) Prom of the Town of Trenton Shirley Lallensack of Milwaukee Richard (the late Theresa) of Grafton Gary (Jill) of Appleton Connie (Kevin) Kirst of Neenah and Harold (Elaine) of Fredonia. She is further survived by 14 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren 9 brothers- and sisters-in-law: Agnes Strauss and Eleanore Strauss of Belgium Beatrice Lallensack Victor (Angie) Lallensack Lorraine Lallensack and Gladys Lallensack all of Manitowoc Lucille Lallensack of Newton and Arden Koehler of Kewaunee nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband daughter-in-law Theresa Lallensack grandson Ryan Kirst 7 brothers and 3 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 17th 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. Father James Vojtek will officiate. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday October 16th from 3-7PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N.
