Rosalie "Sally" Feyereisen passed away peacefully at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake on Friday, April 2, 2021. Her 92 years were full of family and farm life. Sally enjoyed cooking, being in her garden, watching her birds, feeding her cats, and—most recently at Gables on the Pond—doing crafts and visiting with new and old friends. Above all, time spent with her loving family was most important to her.
Sally was born on November 6, 1928, to George and Rose (Jacque) Kolbach. She grew up on a farm in Port Washington with five sisters and three brothers. After completing her schooling, she worked as a mother's helper in Cedarburg and then in multiple factories in Milwaukee, before returning home to help out her father with the younger siblings after her mother died in 1948. On May 28, 1949, Sally was united in marriage to Lawrence Feyereisen at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. Sally and Lawrence enjoyed 59 years of marriage together and raised a family of nine children on their farm on Co Rd K in Cedar Grove.
Sally is survived by her children: Dennis (JoAnn), Allen (Ellen), Robert (Mary), all of Random Lake; Jeffrey of Port St. Lucie, FL; Donna Feyereisen of Cedar Grove; James (Lisa), Edward (Debbie), both of Cedar Grove; Jeanette (Randy) Wedin of Plymouth, MN; and Patricia (Jan) Eernisse of Oostburg. And by her grandchildren: Jason (Kelleen), Brian (Megan), Katie; Melissa (Dan); Erick (Melanie); Amy, Laura (Nick), Jackie (Mike); Lili; Rebecca (Quinn), Kira, Elizabeth (Justin), Will, Nels (Rachel), Ben; Nicole (John), Andrew, Anthony; Tyrone, Tricia, Troy (Leah), Terry; Hailey and Jacob. And by her great-grandchildren: Molly, Elijah, Emma, Claire, William, Ellie; Wesley, Trevor; Nolan, Rosalie, Theodore; Hannah, Bellatrix, Olivia, Aurora, Forest; Annabelle, Madison, Jackson, Ellie, Benjamin; Madysen, Kaylynn, Landon, and Grayson. And by her brother Donald Kolbach, sister Joan Fechter, and brother-in-law Herman Feyereisen.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence; by her four sisters Marie (Norbert) Lemanczyk, Esther (Wendell "Bud") Pulvermacher, Dorothy "Dolly" (Ted) Glowacki, and Florence "Red" (Frank) Mrazik; by her two brothers Henry "Hank" (Doris) Kolbach and George (Evelyn) Kolbach; and by her son Jeffrey's partner Amy Weinstein.
