Obituary

Ron Hutt from the town of Grafton passed away Tuesday evening November 19 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. He was 75 years old. Ron was born June 11 1938 in Sault Ste. Marie MI the son of Albert and Esther Sabourin Hutt. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines from 1957 until 1963. For over 23 years Ron worked as a tool and dye maker at GM in Oak Creek. Ron was a man who wasn't afraid to work hard. He always said If you want extras in life you have to work extra and would often work side jobs roofing houses to provide his pocket money. On October 24 1993 he was united in marriage with Diane (nee Einerson formerly Stahl). He was a proud Marine Veteran and a member of the American Legion in Sault Ste. Marie Post #0003 as well as the local Leatherneck Club serving as Commander for 1 year. His favorite hangout was the Legion Hall in Port Washington. In his younger days he loved to hunt fish and relax by the campfire with good friends and neighbors. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with family and friends watching the History channel and Packer games reading and traveling up north. He loved trivia limericks and puzzle tricks. Ron is survived by his wife Diane of Grafton and his awesome children Ken (friend Theresa) of AZ Fred (fianc Heather) of Mequon and Kristin (Craig) Ostrander of Clinton. He felt privileged to be a step-father to Stacey (Ronald) Van Schyndel of Canada. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Carter and Spencer Ostrander Kayla and Mitch Van Schyndel and Stephanie Hutt brother Albert Buck (Sally) Hutt sister Joy Reed nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Ronald E. Hutt. A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM on Saturday November 30 2013 at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. Full military honors will follow the service. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-3PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to be serving the family.
