Ronald Irving Hanson of Mequon was born to Eternal life on Monday, August 1, 2022 at the age of 79. His family was at his side. He was born in Milwaukee to Irving and Alice (Schein) Hanson on March 30, 1943. Ron served in the 128th refueling wing in the Air Force during Vietnam. When he came home, he married Margaret Franckowiak, on May 24, 1975, after asking her to marry him 2 days after meeting. Ron enjoyed playing the guitar, playing golf, working with his classic cars, target shooting, deer hunting, sailing, fish fries, and spending time with his grandchildren. Ronald is survived by his devoted wife Margie, his children Erick Hanson and Stephanie Bensman (Ben); grandchildren, Sienna, Jack, Max, Kira, Stella, Leo, and Logan. He is also survived by his closest, and younger brother, Kenny Hanson. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, brother, and father. A Memorial Service for Ronald will take place at 11:30 AM on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave. Cedarburg, WI 53012. Fr. Timothy Kitzke will preside. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a special memory to be placed on a designated poster at the memorial service.
