Obituary

RONALD F. KRIZEK Mr. Ron Krizek of Lake Church Road in the Town of Belgium passed away at his residence while surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday afternoon May 19 2015. He was 79 years old. Ron was born in Chicago IL on August 4 1935 son of Frank and Emily Sir Krizek. When he was a young man he moved to Belgium with his mom and step-father Andrew Cislo. Ron enjoyed spending time in Phillips WI hunting and fishing with extended family. He served proudly in the US Army following graduation from Port Washington High School. Ron was united in marriage with Celine Wester on October 12 1957 at St. Mary Catholic Church Lake Church. The couple settled in Lake Church and raised their family. Ron was a boilermaker with Union 107 and also worked for Schlitz Brewing Company in Milwaukee. Ron Celine ran the Dixie Inn Lake Church Inn Quarry Inn for many years. Mr. Krizek was very active in Ducks Unlimited and loved the outdoors; hunting fishing yardwork gardening or just being outside. He was a loving family man and enjoyed having his family around him as much as possible; Sunday dinners and attending his grandchildren's events were the highlights of each week. Ron and Celine could frequently be found sitting in the front of their home just enjoying the view and life. She preceded him in death in 2011. Ron is survived by four children: Laura (Randy) Klingelhoets of Belgium Scott (Roxann) Krizek also of Belgium Lynn (Keith) Palmer and Lina (Jamie) Vorpahl both of Random Lake. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Marcia ( Brian) Voskuil Matthew Palmer Jamie (Jon) Grotenhuis Sara Klos Nicole (Freddy) Depies Bryan Krizek Bradley (fiance Madelyn Meyer) Palmer Aaron (Ashlee) Krizek Daniel Klingelhoets Emily Callie Vorpahl 6 great-grandchildren: Grace Carsen Cameron Dallas Owen and Greta. Further survivors include sisters-in-law Ruth Wester Darlene Wester Mary Ann Wester Mary Margaret Schmitz and JoAnn Schmit nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Celine. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 Royal Ave. (Hwy LL Park St.) Belgium on Friday May 22nd from 2-6:30pm followed by prayers at 6:30pm. Father Jim Ernster will preside. Ron will be laid to rest in St. Mary Cemetery beside his wife. In lieu of flowers memorials in Ron's name are suggested to Duck's Unlimited.
