Ronald E. Dimmer of Saukville was born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the age of 87. He was born to Alphonse and Wilma (Rhode) Dimmer on January 15, 1934 on a farm in the Town of Port Washington. Ron attended Maple Grove School also in the Town of Port Washington. He was united in marriage to Louise "Dolly" Lucas (1933-2002) on December 20, 1954. Ron later married Patricia Turcotte on January 15, 2015.
Ron worked as a laborer and then a plumber. He started his own plumbing business in Saukville with Helmut Haak in 1976. Ron enjoyed cutting grass and snow blowing for his neighbors. He will always be remembered for his banana bread and cookies for all.
Ron's memory will be cherished by his wife Pat, his children Roxanne (Keith) Grotelueschen, Wendy (Terry) Herriges and Ronald "Butch" (Penny) Dimmer. His grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; stepdaughters, Barbara Turcotte, Sandra (Ken) Allard, Kris Turcotte and De Anna (Wayne) Harris; sisters Andrea (Ron) Harmon and Shell (Jerry) Zvara and brother Dan Dimmer. He is further survived by Pat's grand and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00PM on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Portview Church, 3457 County Road LL, Port Washington, WI 53074 with Pastor Mark Larson presiding. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 3:00PM until the time of service. Ronald will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery in Saukville.
