Roger E. Kopplin passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025. He was 89 years old.

He was born on January 20, 1936, in Columbus, Wisconsin to parents George and Lillian (nee Karow) Kopplin. Roger attended Boys Tech and graduated in the Class of 1955. He was united in marriage with Rosalie Tadych on February 16, 1957, and together they raised 2 daughters.

Roger was a volunteer fireman and part of the rescue squad with the Cedarburg Fire Department for 25+ years. He was a dedicated employee at Pioneer Container for 39 years.

Roger loved many hobbies including woodworking and square dancing. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Rosalie, daughters Susan (Scott) Chapman and Sheila (Roger) Knepprath. He is further survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Henry, Robert, Donald, Norma, and great-grandchild Vivian Rose.

A Celebration of Life for Roger will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Eernisse Funeral Home – Cedarburg (1167 Washington Ave. Cedarburg, WI 53012) The family will greet guests from 10AM until the time of the service at Noon.

The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Lasata Care Center and Horizon Hospice for their care and compassion.
