Mr. Roger Klos of Random Lake, formerly of Cedar Grove, passed away following health complications on Saturday, September 13, 2025. He was 73 years old.

Roger was born in Port Washington on August 8, 1952, the son of Norbert and Clarita (nee Mueller) Klos. He grew up in Dacada and attended local schools, graduating from Random Lake High School in 1969. Roger moved to Cedar Grove in 1976, where he was well known by his neighbors for his kindness and willingness to help others.

Mr. Klos drove truck for Kettle Lakes co-op in Random Lake, later driving for Jentges Excavation and Karrels Trucking, before taking his final driving position with Hy-Way Transit in Cedar Grove. He frequently took his favorite dog, Ava, on the road with him, and had many great stories to tell of his trips. Roger retired in 2019, and moved to Random Lake in 2021.

Roger had a fondness for motorcycles and his Corvette, as well as bowling and golfing. He enjoyed a good martini with friends, sometimes at the Mirror Bar in Dacada or at the Sportsman Bar in Cedar Grove. He was devoted to his dog Ava.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brother Donald & wife Theresa Klos of Arkansas and his sister Carol & her husband Steven Risch of Random Lake, nieces and nephews: Joshua, Michelle, Melanie, Duncan, Denver, Sophia and Ana, other family and many good friends. Roger is preceded in death by his parents Norbert and Clarita, older brother Ronald, and infant sisters Mary and Darlene.

Per his request, no formal service will be held. A brief graveside service will take place at St. Nicholas Cemetery at 11AM on Thursday, September 25th, as he is laid to rest beside his family. The family invites friends & acquaintances to join them for the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family request any donations to be sent to the Wisconsin Humane Society for their foster dog program.
