Roger C. Bogatzke nbsp; Roger Bogatzke of Highway O in Saukville passed away unexpectedly at his residence on March 30 2011.nbsp; He was 68 years old.nbsp; Roger was born in Carroll IA on August 26 1942 son of Carl and Ruth Dammann Bogatzke.nbsp; Roger proudly served his country in the US Army from 1961 to 1964.nbsp; On December 9 1967 he married Barbara Kraczek at St. Andrewrsquo;s Church in Milwaukee.nbsp; The couple moved from Milwaukee to Eagle River and then settled in Saukville. He worked as a carpenter at Opus North Company in Milwaukee retiring in 2006.nbsp; nbsp;Roger and Barbara did everything together from being active in church affairs at whichever church they belonged to at the time to spending time together outdoors.nbsp; They taught all of their daughters boating skills hunting fishing and to be respectful of nature.nbsp; He enjoyed playing computer games woodworking feeding the birds and reading.nbsp; He was currently the treasurer of the Blue Heron Wildlife Sanctuary in Saukville.nbsp; Roger is survived by his wife Barbara of Saukville and their three daughters; Annette (Dominique) De Sercey of Panama City Beach FL Jeannette Schaub of Panama City Beach FL and Lynette (Russell) Whitford of Saukville.nbsp; He is further survived by his mother Ruth Bogatzke of Milwaukee two grandsons Travis and Trenton Whitford nieces nephews other relatives and friends.nbsp; He is preceded in death by his brother Glen Bogatzke and two sisters JoAnn Richardson and Paulette Obst.nbsp; Funeral services will be held on Sunday April 3 2011 at 6 PM at St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church 1525 N. Grant St. Port Washington with Pastor Martin Wildauer officiating.nbsp; Military Honors will take place at the church immediately following the service.nbsp; Visitation will be held on Sunday April 3 2011 at the CHURCH from 4-6 PM.nbsp; The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family.nbsp; Online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.comnbsp; nbsp;br /Service:br /p6 PM on Sunday April 3rd at St. Matthew Ev.
