Obituary

RODNEY L. LOFBERG Mr. Rodney Lofberg of River Road in Waubeka passed away at his residence Wednesday morning August 24th 2005. He was 77 years old. Rodney was born in Sweden MN on August 2 1928 son of Arthur and Eileen Nelson Lofberg. After finishing school Rodney joined the United Stated Navy. Upon his return he married Elaine M. Flint. They were united in marriage on September 3 1950 in Lake Bronson MN. The couple moved to Wisconsin and Mr. Lofberg started working for Kieckhaefer in Cedarburg and stayed on to became a machinist for Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac. He retired after 35 years. Elaine preceded Rodney in death in 1994. Mr. Lofberg was a member of St. Paul's Community Church in Waubeka a long-time member of Landt- Thiel American Legion Post #470 on Saukville and he was a 35+ year member of IMA Lodge #1947. Rodney enjoyed traveling dining out deer hunting and spending time working in his yard. He also enjoyed polka music loved to dance and was very proud to have served in the Navy. He is survived by 2 sons: Darnell Lofberg of Tomah Doren (Bessie) Lofberg of Random Lake 4 daughters: Cindy (Philip ) Reinhold of Gillett Debbie (Mark) Maradik of Lake Villa IL Darlene (Fiance Nicholas Schultz) Casper of Racine and Julie (Herb) Timo also of Racine 11 grandchildren and10 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by 2 sisters: Patsy (Ed) Stokke of Woodbridge VA and Marlys (Francis) Anderson of Thief River Falls MN 4 brothers: Gary (Maryann) Lofberg of Thief River Falls MN Neil (Karon) Lofberg of Beaver Dam Brian (Corrine) Lofberg of Fox Lake and Michael (Michele) Lofberg also of Fox Lake nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife 1 daughter Sandy and 1 great-grandson. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday August 27th at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave Port Washington. Chaplain Bob Lantz will officiate. Rodney will be laid to rest next to his wife in Waubeka Union Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home Saturday from 11AM-1PM. br /Service:br /1:00 PM at 1600 W.
