Roberta K. Harris died on March 19th, 2023. She was the daughter of Sol and Bertha Harris and sister to Dan Harris, of East Haddam CT. She was born on July 31, 1936. She graduated from Hale Ray High School in 1954 and went on to earn a B.S. degree from Willimantic State Teachers College and a Master's degree from the University of Hartford. She taught in the West Hartford Public School system for many years, where she made many lifelong friends. Roberta loved to read and enjoyed going to the theater, art museum and ballet. She enjoyed travelling throughout the U.S. and Europe during summer vacations. In early 2020 she relocated to Mequon, Wisconsin to be closer to family members. Roberta is survived by her sister-in-law Barbara Harris, a niece Angela Harris and a nephew Mark Harris and his family. Burial arrangements are private.
