Robert J. Thill Robert Thill age 84 years of the Town of Fredonia passed away on Friday January 13 2006 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee in Mequon surrounded by his family. He was born in the Town of Belgium on May 5 1921 son of the late John and Elizabeth Jentges Thill. On October 23 43 he married Blanche Wester at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. The Thill's operated a dairy farm in the Town of Fredonia. Robert was a member of Holy Rosary Parish the Farm Bureau the Luxembourg Society the Catholic Knights and the Country Promenaders Square Dance Club. He is a former member of the Fredonia Town Board. He also enjoyed going to auctions traveling playing sheepshead and visiting with his friends and family. Mr. Thill is survived by his children Betty (Del Vanstone) Thill of Pewaukee Robert (Pam) Thill of Cedarburg Mary (Bob) Bretschneider of Honolulu Joan (Kim) Steffen of Fredonia Nancy (Mike) Schmit of Fredonia Thomas (Doreen) of Port Washington Debbie (David) Schueller of Belgium and Lucy (Hal) Janke of Fredonia. He is further survived by 19 grandchildren 4 step grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren 7 step great-grandchildren his sister Delores Tillie (the late Marvin) Prom of Port Washington brothers-in-law Bertram (Verena) Wester and James (Lucille) Wester of both of Port Washington sisters-in-law Arline Thill of Port Washington Beatrice (the late Herb) Krier of Belgium and Mary (Gordon) Thill of Fredonia his special friend Esther Burmesch nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents wife Blanche brother Harvey and sister Lucinda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 21st at 10:30 AM at Holy Rosary Parish Holy Cross Chapel with Father Dick Fleischman and Father James Ernster officiating. Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday January 20th from 4-8 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Avenue in Port Washington and also on Saturday January 21st at the Church from 9:30 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials to Holy Rosary Parish or the Luxembourg Society suggested. Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family.
