Robert S. Schoefer nbsp;Robert S. Schoefer of North Spring Street in Random Lake passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday March 18 2009.nbsp; He was 47 years old.nbsp; Robert was born on Long Island New York on December 20 1961 son of Helmut and Ingrid Skatikat Schoefer.nbsp; He grew up on Long Island and joined the United States Marine Corp after he finished school.nbsp; Mr. Schoefer moved to Wisconsin in 1998 and has lived in Random Lake for the last two years.nbsp; Most recently he had worked as a machinist at Milwaukee N C Machining Company in Fredonia. Rob had a passion for music and was a dedicated Pink Floyd fan.nbsp; He also enjoyed hockey and the Pittsburg Steelers football team.nbsp; Othernbsp; interests he held were doing wood-burning and ceramics projects. He is survived by his parents Helmut and Ingrid of Germany two sisters: Karin (Timothy) Egan of Centennial CO and Judy (Irene Cortez) Schoefer of Arvada and two brothers: Thomas (Kristine) Schoefer and Michael Schoefer both of Long Island NY.nbsp; He is further survived by his special friend Tina Knepprath of Random Lake as well as cousins 4 nieces other relatives and friends.nbsp; A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30PM on Friday March 27th at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington followed by Military Honors.nbsp; A short visitation period is scheduled from 3-3:30PM.
