Obituary

ROBERT R. LIPPE Bob Mr. Bob Lippe of Partridge Court in Cedarburg passed away at his residence early Tuesday morning May 28 2013. He was 66 years old. Robert was born in Port Washington on April 11 1947 son of Lloyd and Delores Meyer Lippe. The family lived in Saukville and Bob attended local schools proudly graduating from Port Washington High School with the Class of 1965. He served in the US Army in Korea during the Viet Nam era. On April 18 1970 Bob was united in marriage with Alice Adams at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington. The couple settled in Milwaukee and raised their family. Mr. Lippe worked for the City of Mequon in the Public Works Department. He retired as Operations Superintendent in 2008 after 39 years on the job. Bob and Alice moved to Cedarburg in 1997. Mr. Lippe was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton as well as a member of the American Public Works Association. He enjoyed traveling and was a fan of local sports teams including the Wisconsin Badgers Marquette Golden Eagles and the Green Bay Packers. Bob enjoyed working around the house and frequently helped his daughters with home projects of their own. He enjoyed talking to people and learning their interests and points of view. Bob is survived by his wife Alice and their two daughters: Jill (Sean) Marshall of Waterford and Becky (Rudolph J.) Kuss of Grafton. He is further survived by four grandchildren: Rudy Lauren Kuss of Grafton and Jessica Amber Marshall of Waterford two brothers: Richard Lippe of Toronto Canada and James (Jacklyn) Lippe of The Villages FL. Other survivors include his mother-in-law Marjorie Adams of Port Washington four sisters-in-law: Margaret Adams of Port Washington Nancy (Paul Clausing) Adams of Durham NC Janet (the late Michael) Trzecinski also of Port Washington and Carol (Jeff) Fritsche of Silverton OR nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5PM on Friday May 31st at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 1619 Washington St. Grafton. Father Michael Barrett will preside. The family will receive visitors at CHURCH on Friday from 2-5PM. Memorials are suggested to either the Ozaukee Humane Society or to the House of Peace. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
