ROBERT L. ZYWICKE Mr. Robert Zywicke of Highway SS in Adell passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday June 4 2008 at Cedar Grove Gardens in Cedar Grove he was 84 years old. Robert was born in the Town of Hull on July 28 1923 son of Herman and Helen Kleman Zywicke. He attended St. Casmir School and later graduated from PJ Jacobs High School in Stevens Point. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army enlisting in 1943. He served in the American Asiatic-Pacific and the Philippines Theaters. He later joined the Reserves and left the service altogether in 1953. Robert was united in marriage with Beatrice Bilda Wesling on September 11 1957 in Milwaukee. Mr. Zywicke worked as an Auto Maintenance Worker and Union Steward at American Motors Corp. in Milwaukee for 30 years retiring in 1982. Robert and Bea moved to the Adell area in the early 1960\'s. She preceded him in death in 1995. Robert was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish. He enjoyed raising horses horse racing dancing deer hunting and vehicle mechanics. He also enjoyed driving casino junckets playing cards and wildlife habitat creation. Mr. Zywicke is survived by his sister Isabelle (Henry) Laszewski of Stevens Point sister-in-law Evelyn Zywicke also of Stevens Point as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his loving companion Lucy Veldboom of Oostburg her daughter Connie Felde other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 38 years Beatrice his parents and one brother Chester Zywicke. A Memorial Mass will be held at 12 noon on Saturday June 14th at Our Lady of the Lakes St. Nicholas Chapel (Hwy K) Dacada. Father Richard Cerpich will officiate. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Guardian Angel Cemetery Stevens Point. The family will receive visitors Saturday June 14th at the CHURCH from 11AM until services at noon.In lieu of flowers memorials to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Charitable Service Trust 3725 Alexandria Pike Cold Spring KY 41076.
