Obituary

Robert M. Krucky passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, surrounded by his family after a quick battle with pancreatic cancer.

Bob was the devoted husband of the late Mary Krucky (Bloom) for 60 years. He was the loving father of Michael (Gene Lee) and Lisa (Bill) Rice; beloved grandfather of Bill (Cassie), Ryan (Elyse), and Kelsey; and proud great-grandfather of Hudson, and another baby boy arriving in August. Bob is survived by his brother, Joseph (Connie) Krucky, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends from Cudahy to Muskego to Plymouth and Grafton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Stella Krucky; his mother and father-in-law, Thelma Wahlberg (Wilder) and Dorsey Bloom; his sisters Doris (William) Bady, Anne (Frank) Taucher, Leo (Frank) Krucky, Margie (Gordon) Berendt, and Katie (Dennis) Slater; and his brothers- and sisters-in-law Bob (Marliss) Bloom and Bernice (James) Eiben.

Bob was born and raised in Cudahy, Wisconsin. He married his high school sweetheart, Mary, shortly after graduation, and together they raised their family in Cudahy. Following high school, Bob completed a five-year apprenticeship in Experimental Product Building as a model maker. During his apprenticeship at AC Spark Plug, he worked on missile projects. After completing his apprenticeship, he spent four more years in the field at Allen-Bradley and Johnson Controls. He later continued his education at UW–Milwaukee, where he studied Technical Education.

While Bob completed his studies, he and Mary owned and operated the Golden Chicken Store in Cudahy, located in Arlan’s. Bob then went on to spend 30 years teaching woodshop and metalshop within the Milwaukee Public School system, spending most of his career at Washington High School. He also taught adult woodworking courses at MATC and Plymouth High School.

Bob was also a Free Mason for more than 60 years and was most recently a member of Plymouth Masonic Lodge Cassia #167.

It was Bob’s wish to return to West Virginia to be reunited with his wife. A private service will be held in West Virginia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the family will be directed to Make A Wish Wisconsin to help grant a wish of a local child.

“Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.”

The Eernisse Funeral Home of Cedarburg is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.com
