Robert J. Kronforst "Bob" Robert Kronforst, of the Town of Grafton, passed away in the afternoon hours of Monday, January 18, 2021 at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon. He was 82 years old. Bob was born at his family's home in Cedar Grove on April 19, 1938, son of Anton "Tony" Kronforst and Viola Cizek Kronforst. He grew up in the Cedar Grove area and graduated from Cedar Grove High School with the Class of 1956. After high school, Bob volunteered for the US Army, and was honorably discharged in 1958. On September 24, 1960, Bob married Janice Wetor at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada. The couple raised their family in the Random Lake area, before moving to Cedarburg and then Grafton in the 1980's. Bob worked as a machinist for Bolens Manufacturing and Trak International, retiring in 2000. Bob was a member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg, and a volunteer at Family Sharing of Ozaukee County in his early retirement. He enjoyed many family vacations to Door County and the Rocky Mountains, hunting and fishing, cheering for the Packers, Bucks and Brewers, and especially spending time with his two granddaughters. Bob is survived by his loving wife Janice of the Town of Grafton, three children: Ron Kronforst of Grafton, Colleen (Robert) Schwartz of Fox Point and Paul (Dawn) Kronforst of Cedarburg. He is further survived by his two granddaughters Payton (Sean) Doughman and Sydney Kronforst, his brother-in-law Willy Wetor of Random Lake, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother Margaret and his sister Virginia Wilson. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date.
