Robert A. Holtzman of Cedarburg, passed away suddenly in his home on Saturday, November 4, 2023. He was 76 years old.

He was born August 11, 1947, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Harold and Jeannette (Katz) Holtzman. A graduate of Nicolet High School with the class of 1964. In 1969 he was drafted in the United States Army and dedicated several years to his service; he received two bronze star medals. On July 4, 1978, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Susan White, in Fox Point, Wisconsin in his parent's backyard. They spent over 45 years together and raised two children.

Robert was an active and proud member of the VFW in Cedarburg, where he found camaraderie among his fellow veterans. His dedication and service to his country was admirable, embodying the values of patriotism and honor. Robert's compassion and selflessness extended beyond his military service, as he was always eager to lend a helping hand to others in need.

He enjoyed socializing with his neighbors. He had great pride in his 1987 Ford Mustang. An avid dog lover to his faithful companion "Kody" who preceded him in death. Family road trips were something the Holtzman family looked forward to, even if it was just to head to their favorite cheese factory in Gibbsville, WI.

Robert will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Susan (White) Holtzman; his children Samuel (Leah Wisdorf) Holtzman and Sabrina Holtzman and his granddogger Ashka; his mother-in-law Patricia White, along with many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In honor of Robert's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
