Robert E. DeBano of Port Washington passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, November 28, 2019. He was 72. Bob was born to Alvin and Mary (nee Zuelsdorf) DeBano on November 8, 1947 in Port Washington. He married Roseann Clark on November 27, 1971 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington and together they had two children.
Soon after graduation from Port High School Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force. He proudly served his country from 1967-1971. He worked alongside his father in the Highway Department for Ozaukee County. Bob retired after 40 years of dedicated service in 2007. He enjoyed traveling around the United States, camping, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Bob will be forever missed by his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife Roseann, his children Michael DeBano and Michele (Dan) Siesco and his grandchildren, Samantha and Mason. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Mary DeBano and his parents-in-law Carl and Dorothy Clark.
A Liturgy of the Word will be held in Bob's honor at 5:00PM on Friday, December 6, 2019 at St. John XXIII Parish- St. Mary's Church (451 N. Johnson St., Port Washington, WI 53074). Fr. Patrick Wendt will preside. Visitation will be at the CHURCH from 4:00PM until the time of service. Bob will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Port Washington on Saturday, December 7, 2019.
