Mr. Robert L. Damon of Sunset Road in Port Washington, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Horizon-Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. He was 93 years old. Robert was born March 23, 1930, in Neopit, Wisconsin, the son of Ellsworth "Al" and Ramona "Mona" Damon. On March 31, 1951, he married Joann Uttke at St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Milwaukee. He and Joann raised their family in Milwaukee.

Mr. Damon worked as a machinist for many years. The couple moved to Port Washington in 1995. Robert was a member of St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered by his many friends at Juice's Ghost Town in Grafton.

Robert is survived by one son Robert E. (Lynn) of Oak Creek and four grandchildren: Brian (Candace), Christopher (Katie), Matthew (Katie) and Jenny (Aaron). He is further survived by his sister Carol Damon of Elm Grove, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Joann and their son David.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg, WI 53074. Deacon Mike Burch will preside. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 4:00-6:00pm. A private interment will take place.
