Robert "Bob" P. Jelinski

Surrounded by his loving family, Bob Jelinski passed away at his Cedarburg home on Friday September 12, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born in Milwaukee on December 16, 1942, the son of Chester and Stella (nee Newton) Jelinski. After graduating from Messmer High School in 1961, Bob went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Bob was united in marriage to Terry Klaerig in Milwaukee on August 19, 1979. They became and remained Shorewood residents until a recent move to Cedarburg. Bob was United States Air Force Reservist and enjoyed working with youth as a Boy Scout Leader and Soccer Coach. He worked for Weingrod Electronics in Sales and Marketing as well as Milwaukee Public Schools as a substitute teacher. As an avid sports enthusiast he followed football, baseball, basketball and tennis, all sports he played and excelled at in his youth. He also had strong interest in politics, economics and dogs, especially Boxers.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years Terry; son Michael (Daniella) Jelinski; grandchildren Drew (Josh) Morgan, Dominic Jelinski and Mika Jelinski; great grand daughter Eloise Morgan; siblings Wayne (the late Carol) Jelinski and Joni (Dick) Bongard, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday September 30, 2025, at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave, in Cedarburg. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4-6:00 PM and at a reception following the Service. Private family inurnment at St. Francis Borgia Cemetery.
