Deppiesse
July 30, 1947 – May 3, 2023
Robert "Bob" Vincent Deppiesse of Random Lake, passed away on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. He was 75. Bob was born July 30, 1947 in Port Washington the son of Martin and Helen (nee Bittner) Deppiesse. On June 6, 2003 he was united in marriage with Bev Palmer in Sheboygan.
After graduating Random Lake High School, Bob joined the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam (1966-1970). He married Nancy Couch in North Carolina in 1969. After the military they moved back to Random Lake and he began his career with Gehl Company as a welder and retired as the shipping and receiving manager after 43 years of dedicated service.
Bob was a long-time member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic parish. He volunteered as an EMT for the Random Lake Fire Department. Bob was a member of the Random Lake American Legion Post 145. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors working in the garden and fishing. Bob loved watching the Packers and Brewers along with old western movies and wrestling. In May of 2022, Bob was grateful to experience the Honor Flight Celebration. Above all, Bob cherished the time spent with his family.
Bob will remain in the hearts of his children Wendi (Greg) Shultis, Tammy (Jason) Wall, Penny Deppiesse, and Crystal (Brett) Kichura; grandchildren Tyler, Alex, Hannah, Kaitlin, Morgan, Megan, Justin, Connor, and Brooklyn; great-grandchildren Piper and Beckham; siblings Cindy (Dave) Katt and Jean (Joe) Preisler; brother-in-law Mike Jungers. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bev, sister Jane Jungers and mother of his children Nancy Deppiesse.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 300 Butler St. Random Lake, WI 53075. Fr. Don Thimm will preside. The family will receive visitors at the church from 4:00 until the time of Mass. Bob will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Random Lake.
