Rita C. Rausch, age 90 years of Mequon died Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon. She was born April 27, 1929 in Milwaukee, daughter of John and Elise Zuther Ruesch. On September 16, 1950 she married Leo Rausch in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 2006. Rita enjoyed sewing, bowling, golfing, gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and many close friends. Survivors include her children Michelle (Philip) Neary of Cedarburg and Greg (Kris) Rausch of Mequon, five grandchildren Steven (Katie) Neary, Michael Neary, Elizabeth Neary, Emily and Alyson Rausch, 2 great grandchildren Leo and Louis Neary, two sisters Patricia (Charles) Seidner and Jeanne Hass, and 2 sisters in law Rosemary Schorse and Pat Rausch. Funeral Tuesday, December 10, 6pm at Faith Lutheran Church, N35 W6621 Wilson St., Cedarburg. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery, Mequon. Visitation at the CHURCH Tuesday from 3-5:45 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or charity of choice appreciated.
