Richard J. Waters Dick Mr. Dick Waters of Cedarburg and formerly of Milwaukee Iowa and Illinois passed away Monday afternoon September 15 2014 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. He was 89 years old. Dick was born September 7 1925 in Carroll Iowa the son of Clair Waters and Mary Schuette. After high school he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. On April 16 1945 he was united in marriage with Alice Wolford. Dick worked for BP Oil for over 30 years retiring in 1981 as a terminal manager. Dick was a proud member of the Free Masons Lodi Valley Lodge 0099 the VFW Post 3878 (Rochelle IL) the American Legion Peter Wollner Post 288 (Cedarburg WI) and the Disabled Veterans Chapter 19 (West Allis WI). Dick is survived by his wife Alice of Cedarburg and their two daughters: Luanna (Tom) Watschun of Naperville IL and Barbara (the late Donald) Rintelman of Cedarburg. He is further survived by 4 grandchildren: Jessica Watschun Rich Watschun (Jill) Rebecca Rintelman (Rik) and Ross Rintelman 2 great-grandchildren: Zelda and Theodore Teddy Wimmer sister Dorothy DeVaney of Waterville WA nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his siblings: Merle Waters Charles Waters Bud Waters and Faye Waters. A private family memorial service was held. The Eernisse Funeral Home Cedarburg is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
