Richard R. Waski, of Random Lake, WI found peace in the Lord's Kingdom Thursday, October 26, 2017. He was born in Chicago, IL on August 31, 1948 to Richard and Renatta (nee Depcik) Waski.
Richard graduated from De LaSalle High School in Chicago, IL in 1966. He received his bachelor's degree in education from Lewis University in Joliet, IL and went on to receive his master's degree in education from Cardinal Stritch University in Whitefish Bay, WI. Richard dedicated 35 years to teaching special education students in Wisconsin. He was an outdoorsman and his hobbies included deer hunting, woodworking, and an appreciation for the arts. Richard treasured his time with his family. He was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Kewaskum.
Richard is survived by the mother of his children, Sharon Waski, his children Kristyn (Andrew) Aalto of Coeur d' Alene, ID, Richard (Andrea) Waski of Monroe, WI, Rachel (Marc) LeDoux, Lafayette, LA and Elizabeth (Brian) Zettler of Random Lake, WI; grandchildren, Jonathan and Ariana Aalto, Clayton and Morgan Waski, Audrey and Evangeline LeDoux; sister, Gail (Michael) Hogan; niece, Sarah Hogan; nephews, Aaron Hogan, Jacob Hogan and Adam (Jessica) Hogan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his Aunt Marcella and Uncle Bernard Fordon.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill in the Basilica Church, Level 3 (1525 Carmel Rd. Hubertus, WI 53033) with Father Edwin Kornath presiding.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington, WI).
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Michaels Catholic Church of Kewaskum and Northern Ozaukee Schools Scholarship Foundation.
