Mr. Richard Koteski, formerly of Neenah passed away at the Aurora Medical Center in Grafton on the morning of Thursday, December 20, 2018. He was 90 years old. Richard was born in Neenah on September 24, 1928, son of Peter and Marie Koteski. He graduated St. Mary's High School in 1946. On May 20, 1950 He was united in marriage with Ardythe Guthu at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Menasha. The couple settled in Neenah and started their family. Mr. Koteski worked as a press operator for Atlas Tag and Label, retiring in 1994 after almost 45 years on the job. Richard and Ardy moved to Cedarburg in 2009 to be closer to family. Richard was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Neenah. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping. He was a generous soul and liked helping others. Richard is survived by his four children: Mary Jo (Mike) Martin of Atlanta, GA, Ann (Rick) Carey of Lake City, FL, Jody (Wayne) Reckard of Cedarburg and David (Rebecca) Koteski of Elm Grove. He is further survived by four grandchildren: James, Leann, Dan and Dana, two great-grandchildren: Corland and Tatum; sister, Donna (John) LeComte, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Ardy (2016), his parents and his brother Robert Koteski. Richard will be laid to rest next to his wife in St. Margaret Cemetery Neenah.
