nbsp; Richard J. Fezatt nbsp;Mr. Richard Fezatt of Kara Lane in Grafton formerly of Port Washington passed away Monday morning April 19 2010 at the home of his daughter where he had resided the last year surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born May 31 1926 in Iron Mountain MI the son of Victor and Julia Berganini Fezatt. After graduating from Kingsford High School Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1944-1946. He served as part of the 20th infantry division in the South Pacific. On April 17 1948 he was united in marriage with Arlene Ellis in Iron Mountain MI. She preceded him in death in 2006. Richard worked as a boiler operator at Wisconsin Electric for 36 years before retiring in 1986. Mr. Fezatt was a member of Grand Ave. United Methodist Church as well as the Van Ells-Schanen American Legion Post 82. He enjoyed hunting fishing traveling with his wife Arlene and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his daughter Sandra (Mark) Schrameyer of Grafton and two granddaughters: Kerri (Eric) Hunsicker of Belgium and Kristen (Cameron) Huck of Grafton. He is further survived by five great-grandchildren: Alexandria Kyler Evan Elizabeth and Nathan two step-great-grandchildren Sarah and Lindsey one sister Jane (Herbert) Smith of Iron Mountain MI two brothers: Kenneth (Mic) Fezatt of Port Washington and Darrell (Bobbi) Fezatt of Marquette MI nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene. Funeral Services will be held at 4PM on Saturday April 24 2010 at Grand Ave. United Methodist Church 505 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Pastor David Guse will officiate. Richard will be entombed beside his wife Arlene at St. Maryrsquo;s Mausoleum in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday afternoon from 1-4PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Grand Ave. United Methodist Church VITAS Hospice or the Oz. County Humane Society. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
