Richard D. Friberg of Port Washington entered eternal life on Thursday morning Sept. 29 2011 at the Clement J. Zablocki Regional Medical Center in Milwaukee. He was 79 years old. Richard was born July 14 1932 in Milwaukee the son of Joseph and Lily Linke Friberg. He served with the US Army in Korea. Richard was the devoted husband for 56 years of Jeanne (nee Hauge) the loving Dad to six children: Danny (Sissy) Friberg Becky (Dan) DeRocher Debbie (Dave) Melichar Mark (Stephanie) Friberg Tim (Mary) Friberg and Ruth Ann McGuir and Grampa to 11 wonderful grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday Oct. 5 2011 at Heritage Baptist Church W51 N776 Keup Rd. Cedarburg. He will be laid to rest at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove WI. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
