RICHARD C. SZCZERBINSKI Richard Szczerbinski of South Milwaukee Street in Fredonia passed away Thursday March 28 2013 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was 70 years old. He was born in Chicago Il on August 23 1942 son of Constantine and Jean Dankowski Szczerbinski. Following his schooling Rich proudly served in the US Marine Corps during Viet Nam. In 1974 he and his family moved to Mequon and then moved to Fredonia in 1978. Mr. Szczerbinski was an electrician and worked for IBEW Local 134. In his younger days Rich enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked going up north socializing and spending time with his family. Mr. Szczerbinski is survived by his three children: Jeffrey (Shelly) Szczerbinski of Fredonia Jennifer (Michael) Krupp of Iowa City IA and Scott (Linda) Szczerbinski also of Fredonia. He is further survived by seven grandchildren: Meghan Beau Nick Michael Hannah Brianna and Ty and one great-granddaughter Graci. Other survivors include his former wife Sandra Szczerbinski of Fredonia brother Constantine (Pattie) Szczerbinski of Florida two sisters: Sandra (Rich) Davies also of Florida and Virgina (Lloyd) Younge of California nieces nephews other relatives and friends. At Rich's request he will be cremated and private family services will be held. He will be laid to rest at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
