Richard "Tony" Antonia, age 75 passed away at his residence on Sunday, January 21, 2018. He was born on April 19, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Alvin and Sylvia (nee Harvey) Antonia. Tony was united in marriage to Patty (nee Fellenz) on August 26, 1967 at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Saukville, Wisconsin.
Tony was a 1960 graduate of Port Washington High School and then went on to enlist in the United States Air Force from 1960-1964. While Tony was serving, he also attended Boise State Junior College. He was a dedicated employee from 1964-2004 of Freeman Chemical located in Saukville. Tony and his wife Patty were lifelong members of St. Peter's UCC. He was a former member of Landt-Theil American Legion Post # 470 of Saukville. His hobbies included softball, bowling, oil painting and deer hunting.
Tony is survived by his loving wife Patty, children Brian (Sue) Antonia of West Bend, Renee (Ken) Braeger of Eldorado and Michelle (Jason) Bertram of Waunakee. Also survived by grandchildren, Candice Bertram of Astoria, New York, Rebekah, Hannah and Rachel Antonia all of West Bend, Danielle Schueller of Appleton, sister Eileen (John) Haapakoski of Tomahawk, sisters-in-law Sadonna Antonia, BettyMae Schmitz and brother-in-law Al (Linda) Ramthun. Tony is preceded in death by his parents, sister Jane (Clayton) Hughes, brothers Bill and Eugene (Mae) Antonia. Further survived by other nieces, nephews relatives and
friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Eernisse Funeral Home (171 N. Royal Ave. Belgium, Wisconsin 53004) at 3:00 PM. Chaplain John Putnam will officiate. Family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 3:00 PM.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the various medical staff who assisted Tony throughout many years.
