Obituary

Regina M. Steffennbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Mrs. Regina M. (Weber) Steffen 83 was born to eternal life on December 11 2009. She was born in Dimock S.D. the eldest daughter of the late John P. and Mary (Sommer) Weber on April 29 1926. On October 23 1946 she married John G. Steffen at St. Peter and Paulrsquo;s Church in Dimock where they resided until moving to Dacada WI in the early 50rsquo;s. In retirement they resided in the village of Cedar Grove. A life long member of St. Nicholas parish Dacada Regina was a member of the Christian Mothers and served a term as president of the society. She also enjoyed her long time membership in the parish choir. A homemaker and mother to five sons in her spare time she enjoyed sewing for children and grandchildren crocheting and quilting. Most of all she enjoyed golfing with her husband and sons. Regina is survived by her husband John of 63 years and five sons: Jim (Bonnie) of Random Lake John (Cindy) of Cedarburg Joel (Gloria) of Hingham Jeff (Ann) of Cedar Grove and Jay (Lynda) of Sheboygan fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Regina is also survived by a sister Doris Wermers of Sioux Falls S.D. a brother Fran (Joan) Weber of Sioux Falls a sister-in-law Selma Weber of Dimock S.D. and a brother-in-law Vern Lochen of Mitchell S.D. and a brother-in-law Robert (Bernice) Steffen of Crivitz WI as well as many nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. Regina was preceded in death by her parents her sister Mary Katherine Lochen two brothers John C. (Bud) and Louis Weber and a brother-in-law Leo Wermers one grandchild two great grandchildren and a brother and sister-in-law Phil and Ruth Steffen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 15th at 6 PM at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish St. Nicholas Chapel Highway K in Dacada.nbsp; Father Jim Ernster will officiate.nbsp; She will be laid to rest in the parish cemetery.nbsp; Visitation will take place at the CHURCH on Tuesday the 15th from 3-6 PM. Memorials to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice W2850 State Road 28 Sheboygan Falls WI 53085 or Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School are appreciated by the family. The family is especially grateful to the staff of the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their love and support during Reginarsquo;s final months; with special thanks to Kayla Carol Donna Tiana and Wendy and all the wonderful hospice volunteers.
