Cedarburg resident Becky Siefert passed away at the Lasata Care Center on Monday January 27, 2025, at the age of 76. Rebecca was born in Ames, IA on August 21, 1948, the daughter of John and Charlotte (nee Williams) Morrissey. She attended local schools in Iowa, then continued and completed her education in Wisconsin, at Cardinal Stritch University. She then began a career in Marketing, working as an Account Executive for several businesses, most recently Staples.
Rebecca was united in marriage to Richard "Rick" Siefert on June 6, 1970. After initially living in Milwaukee, they moved to Fox Point to begin raising their family, eventually settling in Cedarburg. Many family memories were made during frequent vacation road trips to Glacial Lodge in Colorado.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Rick Siefert; children Emily Siefert of Port Washington and Andy Siefert of Milwaukee; grandchild Ellys Siefert, along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Mark, Phil and Kerry Morrissey.
There will be a Celebration of Life Reception for Becky on Sunday February 9, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Peter Wollner American Legion Post, W57 N481 Hilbert Ave in Cedarburg. Outside of being with her family, Becky loved nurturing to young children, Being able to provide them with love, support and comfort was very important to her. In honor of her nurturing spirit, Memorials in Becky's name to the Lakeshore Regional Child Advocacy Center (CAC), www.lakeshorecac.org, are appreciated.
