Rebecca S. Rowley Ms. Rebecca Rowley of Dekora Street in Saukville passed away at her residence on Tuesday evening November 4 2008 while surrounded by her family and friends.nbsp; She was 52 years old.nbsp; Becky was born in Chicago Heights IL on July 25 1956 daughter of Elbert and Lyda Forman Rowley.nbsp; She had worked as a nurses aid and more recently as a cashier at Pick amp; Save in Grafton.nbsp; People who encountered Becky were forever touched by her infectious spirit and common touch.nbsp; She showed us how to give of her heart in ways that made others feel special even strangers.nbsp;nbsp; Those who encountered her as a checkernbsp; in the grocery line at Pick amp; Save the oncology clinic or even waiting in line to see the Oprah Show understood her passion for accepting people for who they were and finding the best in us all.nbsp;nbsp; Her example motivated others to do the same.nbsp; Becky wished to express her special thanks to family friends and strangers who touched her life and brightened her days. Since being diagnosed with cancer three and a half years ago Becky showed us how to live each day by savoring the simplest gifts of life.nbsp;nbsp; She is survived by her loving family and cherished friends including her brothers Thomas (Jamie) and Ken sister-in-law Sherry (the late Richard) and nephews Evan Rich Jeff and Ryan.nbsp; Becky also leaves behind her dear cat Danni. Becky and her family extend a special thank you to the health care professionals staff and volunteers at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital and Vitas Hospice in Mequon who cared for her with compassion and dignity.nbsp; They were ldquo;angels on earthrdquo; whose medicine went far beyond drugs and medical procedures.nbsp; Becky showed us how to both live and die with grace.nbsp; She hosted her ldquo;Celebration of Liferdquo; party last May when over 80 family members and friends gathered to meet each other and personally share warm memories with her.nbsp; As a result Becky felt no need for a funeral following her death.
