Raymond T. Pfeiffer, age 80 passed on May 1, 2016. He was born on June 12, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI to Raymond and Evelyn (nee Treichel) Pfeiffer. He was united in marriage to Sharon E. (nee Jutz) Pfeiffer on June 30, 1956. Ray spent many years working as a dry wall finisher. He was very passionate about his flower gardens and landscaping. Hunting up north with his sons, grandson, and friends was always something he looked forward to. He spent time camping over the years with family and friends. His son's friends called him Pops, as he was a father figure to many. He cared for his wife Sharon for many years while she struggled with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Ray was a kind and very dedicated man to his family and friends. He maintained friendships with a circle of neighbors. His Golden Retriever Max was his buddy and best friend. Ray is survived by his son Todd (Darlene) Pfeiffer, daughter-in-law Sue Pfeiffer, grandchildren Anthony (Brenda) Roeder, Tanya Roeder, Alex and Ben Pfeiffer: great-grandchildren Austin and Brooke Roeder and Tabitha Romano: sister Evelyn (Al) Bensemann: brother-in-law Darrell (Lorraine) Jutz. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Ray is preceded in death by his wife Sharon, three sons Anthony and twins Rodney and Ricky Pfeiffer. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Advent Lutheran Church (W63N642 Washington Avenue Cedarburg, WI 53012) with Pastor Janis Kinens officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. The Eernisse Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
