RAYMOND J. KOEPSEL Mr. Raymond J. Koepsel of Center Ave. in Cedar Grove passed away Friday morning April 6 2012 at his residence. He was 75 years old. Raymond was born April 24 1936 in Milwaukee the son of Evelyn Marr and Walter Koepsel. On June 18 1955 he was united in marriage with Elizabeth Lillie at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Ray was a carpenter running R. K. Woodworking. He worked throughout the state until he retired. Ray and Betty raised their family in Milwaukee and moved to Cedar Grove in 2008. Mr. Koepsel enjoyed fishing and socializing. He had a huge heart and shared his attention with his beloved animals. He is survived by his children: Linda (Jay) Montgomery of Neillsville WI Susan Koepsel of Cedar Grove Carol Trekas of Cedar Grove and Robyn (Jeffrey) Butzlaff of Germantown. He is further survived by his son-in-law Russel Apfel 10 grandchildren: Shanon Andrea Philip Stacey Nicole Bryan Amber Christopher Alexandra and Jonathan; 14 great-grandchildren brother Walter Koepsel of Oshkosh sister-in-law Jane (Robert) George of Hudson other relatives and friends. Ray is preceded in death by his wife daughters Dona Koepsel and Mary Ann Apfel grandson Armin Heine sister Jean Shrank and brothers Kenneth Richard and Robert. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday April 24 2012 at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery Milwaukee. The family will receive visitors at the Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon from 1:30-2:30PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home Belgium is assisting the family with arrangements.
