Mr. Randall "Turtle" Potter, of Cedarburg, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away Friday morning, February 19, 2016 at his home. He was 67 years old. Turtle was born September 8, 1948 in Milwaukee, the son of Wayland and Pearl (nee Holz) Potter. On June 16, 1979, he was united in marriage with Sandy Lyons in Milwaukee. For nearly 15 years, he worked as a truck driver for Service Heat Treating, Inc in Milwaukee, and retired in 2013. Turtle was a proud member of the ABATE motorcycle rights organization, the F.T.W. Days annual camping trip and the Tennessee Squire Association. He was the mayor of Kirchhayn, and a founder and former President of the Kirchhayn Cruisers. He enjoyed motorcycle rides, rebuilding hot rods, yardwork, camping and restoring antique gas pumps. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Turtle is survived by his wife Sandy and his children Michelle Krohelski of Cedarburg and Jeff Potter of Grafton. He is further survived by sisters Debbie and Peggy, sister-in-law Jenny (Ralph) Seibt of Milwaukee, other relatives and many, many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30PM on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave. in Cedarburg. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30-2:30PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
